Tonight at 7 pm are the first auditions for this season's Children's show, The Magician's Nephew. This production is going to be another hit, I just know it. When I addressed the kids last year about this season's show and asked them what show we should do, one of our veteran actors mentioned this story. I was so pleased to find that there was, indeed, a stage production of this fantastic C.S.Lewis story and that it was just delightful.
The cast won't be as big as they have been but it will be lively. I am really pumped to see who shows up tonight and tomorrow night and to get started on my eighth production as director. :o)
PS, I can't believe I've directed eight children's productions, nine overall (11 if you count church programs), In the past three years.
